Mary Wissink

Mary is the owner of Alley Kat Music Center. In addition to running Alley Kat, she teaches piano. With 15 years experience and a love for teaching music, Mary has students ranging from 4 years old to senior citizens. She offers FREE piano lessons to senior citizens (beginners only). Her 6 week course meets once a week and is a great fun.

Brandon Southard

Brandon has been working at Alley Kat Music Center for the past 7 years. He has been involved in music for fifteen years and found great joy in teaching his knowledge to others. He has studied extensively in college music courses to advance his abilities and has performed in worship bands.

Esther Carlton

Esther teaches elementary to intermediate piano to students 6-60+ years old, focusing on having fun while learning. She also gives FREE piano lessons to senior citizens (beginners only). Her expertise is classical training. She is available on Monday and Saturday. She has been at Alley Kat for several years and recitals are held twice a year.

Stephanie Getz

Stephanie Getz has been teaching private lessons at Alley Kat Music and performing as a freelance artist here in Southern California since 2001. She attended Interlochen Arts Camp for three years, and received her Bachelor of Music in Education and Performance from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She has performed in France, Spain, Brasil, Israel, and throughout the U.S. as a chamber, solo and orchestral musician, winning several awards in major competitions. While in college, she was awarded the JC Penney Golden Rule Award for her 6-year volunteer work founding and developing a comprehensive music program for K-12 students of special needs. Before relocating to California, she taught in a New York City private school, and then was an Artist-in-Residence through Chamber Music America, where she performed concerts and taught in schools in rural Alabama. She is currently a member of the Orange County Wind Symphony, records frequently and plays regularly as a part of a church worship team.

Stephanie welcomes all ages, all levels, for learning written music, improvisational music, and playing by ear! A member of the Music Teachers' Association of California, she also offers Certificate of Merit instruction for serious flute, clarinet, and saxophone students. She enjoys her students very much and is passionate about fostering a love of life and music in them, believing that learning music is one of the greatest gifts one can receive!

Jeffrey Garza

Jeffrey has been very lucky to have had the chance to perform all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. As a musician/singer/dancer, he has performed with the likes of Pat Boone, Shirley Jones, Television, Stage, Cruise Line, and major Special Events. He also has been a featured performer for Disney, The Hammerstein Organization, and numerous CLO’s and Stock productions across the country.

As a musician, Jeffrey studied with Harry Solis (Trumpet/Brass), Dan Castro (Theory/Musicianship), and numerous workshops in Southern California and New York City. He is also a graduate of The American Music and Dramatics Academy (1990). Vocal lessons/workshops in California and New York City.

As a Teacher, Jeffrey has taught people from age 8 to 80. Was the former Brass Instructor/Assistant Director at Artesia High School, City of Downey Youth Programs, La Marca Singers, Chapman University, numerous High School workshops in California, Arizona, Wisconsin, Iowa, New York and many others.

Jeffrey believes that everyone has a hidden talent waiting to burst out. Whether you are new to music, have years of experience, or want to get back into playing/singing, let Jeffrey help you on your way!!

Sean Roberts

Sean Roberts has been in the music industry for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Fullerton College & Cal State Fullerton majoring in theater and liberal arts. Throughout Sean's career, he has toured with numerous groups, artists and as a solo recording artist. He has done 2 European tours and 5 U.S. tours. He has also worked with, opened for, or performed with such acts as The Oak Ridge Boys, Arron Tippen, C.C. DeVille of Poison, actress/singer Katy Sagal, Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi, Melanie Ayers, One Way Ride, Anna Marie, Enuff Znuff, Shaquielle O'Neal and Kathy Ireland.

Sean has numerous recording credits as a musician, engineer, sound super visor, and producer. He is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Science, BMI, ASCAP, and The Recording Academy. Sean continues to work as a studio and tour musician for local, regional, and national artists.

Sean has been privately teaching the language of music for the past 10 years and offers individual lessons in guitar, bass, and piano. Students of all ages have enjoyed his guidance and advice. Students enjoy his real world teaching method and his constant dedication to having a solid music foundation in their lives. Many beginning students feel overwhelmed by the thought of learning to read and play music. Sean's goal is to make it easy, as well as fun and educational for them. He also provides opportunities for students to see other aspects of the music industry through clinics, recording sessions, field trips, and attending live performances.

Horace V Crank Jr.

Hoarce teaches classical guitar and jazz pick style; basic flamenco and the fundamentals of rock guitar. He received his B.A. from Stephen F. Austin University and went on to recieve his M.A. from the University of Houston.

Ron Hoshi

Ron Hoshi has been teaching at Alley Kat Music Center almost 2 years. He has his teaching credential from Long Beach State in Music. He also has an Administrative Certificate. He taught vocal music in the Anaheim Unified School District for over 20 years. He is currently the Vice Prinicipal at Oxford Academy. He charges $30 per half hour for vocal lessons. Available on Monday and Tuesday.

Serge Daigneault

CSerge has been teaching guitar for over 25 years. He has taught at Los Angeles Music School, at Souther CA Conservatory of Music, and California Music Studios. He enjoys teaching all styles, from classical to popular. Musical education began in 1979 aat the Academic Ledoux in Quebec, Canada. There he learned the funamentals of music, theory, sight reading and music interpretation. AT the College de la Region de L'Amicante in Quebec he learned music literature, music history, ear training and ensemble music. Once in the US, he took classical guitar lessons with Kurt Shuster at Cal State Long Beach, and studied composition, sight singing and studio recording at Long Beach City College
